PSD Vehicle Rental has provided a fleet of over 70 specialised vans and commercial vehicles to Lanes Group as part of a strategic partnership supporting their newly awarded Yorkshire Water contract across the UK.
The specialised fleet includes Mercedes Sprinter 317 PRO L2H2 Vans designed specifically for infrastructure maintenance applications. These vans feature comprehensive specifications including 3000Kw inverters for powering equipment on site, Prismatic Chapter 8 livery with Highway Maintenance signage for safety compliance, and customised racking systems designed to maximise storage efficiency for specialist tools and equipment.
Also supplied as part of the agreement are Double Cab Ford Transit 350 Leader Tippers, equipped for demanding utility work environments. These vehicles include high-performance 3000Kw inverters, Prismatic Chapter 8 livery, and ball & pin towbars providing versatile towing capability for equipment transport. The comprehensive specification ensures the vehicles meet all operational requirements for infrastructure maintenance.
The van fleet will enable Lanes Group to fulfil their contractual obligations to Yorkshire Water, supporting services ranging from water system maintenance to infrastructure development projects.
