Centrica launches pure electric car scheme for employees

Centrica continues to take a progressive approach to reducing its vehicle emissions, having committed to fully electrifying its 12,500-strong operational fleet by 2025. The company has more electric vans on the road than any other UK organisation, with nearly 700 Vauxhall Vivaro-e British Gas vans being driven by engineers and a total of 3,000 set to be delivered by the end of 2022.

Survey, based on local authority assessment of roads across England during 2019-2021, shows A, B and C roads have generally remained in good condition during the pandemic.  It reveals 6 % of ‘B and C’ - minor - roads are in need of urgent repair and the state of these roads has remained stable throughout lockdown.

New ë-Berlingo takes to the road

Commercial vehicle market hits nine-year-high at Manheim

Manheim auction data demonstrates a significantly older profile of commercial vehicle with average age at 67 months, a four-month increase from September, and average mileage at 85,666, up 6,438 since the previous month. With stock typically of an older profile, the average selling price did drop slightly, down £536 to £10,398.

Is your insurance still valid?

Insurer saw the highest number of customers moving their class of use to ‘Social, Domestic and Pleasure’ in March 2021 when 6,552 made this change to their policies, as many drivers continued to work from home. That month also saw the highest number of drivers making any change to their class of use, with 15,879 motorists doing so.

Delivery boom “unmanageable” without sustainable approach
