Vauxhall reveals pricing and spec for new LCV range

The line-up is offered with a simple choice of trims designed to make things straightforward for customers. On the New Combo and New Vivaro, two generously equipped specification levels – Prime and Pro – are available from launch, ensuring that the differences between individual variants are easy to understand.

It  is available in two trim levels, Prime and Pro, and with electric and diesel powertrains, with the latter offering a choice of manual and automatic transmissions. Both versions of the new Combo are available in two lengths, with a choice of two or three front seats. The new Combo is additionally offered as a five-seat Crew Cab.

How electric fleets can save tonnes of CO2 emissions

As part of its commitment to electrify Britain, Vauxhall calculated how much CO2 could be saved every year if the country’s van fleet converted into electric Light Commercial Vehicles (e-LCVs) that produce zero tailpipe emissions. Using official UK Government and Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) figures, Vauxhall calculated vans account for 18.2% of the UK’s annual transport related CO2 emissions and 4.6% of the country’s total annual carbon emissions.

Movano-e is Vauxhall’s first large Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) to be available as a fully electric variant. It delivers a cargo volume of up to 17m3, while its zero-emission powertrain offers up to 139 miles of range (WLTP). The Combo-e builds on the diesel Combo’s success, which was named 2019 International Van of the Year. With a 50kWh battery providing a range of 171 miles (WLTP) combined with a load volume of 4.4m3, the Combo-e is a practical, compact electric van suitable for both businesses and private users.

Big orders for Vauxhall Vivaro-e

Vauxhall will supply Mitie with 655 Vivaro-e vans for use by frontline engineers while Riverford, a Devon-based organic fruit and vegetable box supplier, aims to turn 100% of its national fleet electric by the end of 2025, with the arrival of 10 zero emissions Vivaro-e vans estimated to help save more than 68 tonnes of CO2 per year.
