Truckman supplies hardtops to Europcar Hilux rental fleet

LEADING manufacturer and distributor of pick-up hardtops and accessories Truckman supplies hardtops to Europcar Hilux rental fleet in a prominent order boost for the company.

Europcar UK, a subsidiary of Europcar Group, the European leader in vehicle rental services and a major player in mobility markets, has invested in 50 new Toyota Hilux pick-ups and has ordered British-built hardtops from Truckman for each, to increase their functionality and security.

Forty of Truckman’s iconic and solid-sided Double Cab RS Hardtops have been fitted to the vehicles at Truckman’s West Midlands headquarters, with 10 Single Cab Classic Hardtops to be completed this year.

The Truckman hardtops, which are the only models in the UK to be compatible with the Hilux Active ladder gantry/rear window guard, transform pick-ups’ truck beds into a safe and secure storage area for Europcar’s rental customers – many of whom use their vehicles for construction and commercial purposes.

The Truckman RS is a highly-robust cab high commercial hardtop, which has a non-drill, clamp fitting and sit flush to the Hilux cab, whilst the Truckman Classic is classed as one of the strongest high capacity hardtops on the market – both ideal for tradesmen and utility customers.

Designed and manufactured by craftsmen at its large production facility in the West Midlands, its secure and robust commercial hardtops are popular with technicians, fleet managers and engineers across a range of industries including construction, agriculture, power distribution and telecoms.
