CPC completion deadline looming for small van fleet operators

No CPC training? Expect a big fine then

TRADES and small van fleet operators, with vans over 3.5 tonnes need to register quickly, to avoid falling foul of new legislation on Driver CPC training.

The deadline for Driver CPC, for professional lorry drivers is 9 September 2014.

What is Driver CPC I hear you ask and why do I need it?

Well, it’s a mandatory qualification, for anyone driving a van over 3.5 tonnes, in addition to a vocational driving licence.

Choosing to ignore this legislation could have a seriously negative effect on your wallet, as if you’re found driving without this qualification, you can be convicted and fined up to £1,000!
