Europcar launches specialist Van Supersites

Europcar is looking to expand by creating a series of Van Supersites across the UK

ALREADY the leader for car hire services in Europe, Europcar is looking to do the same for vans, with the launch of a number of specialist Van Supersites across the UK.

Based in Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, London and Bristol, these Van Supersites will create a network running down the spine of the UK, thus ensuring businesses have access to the right vans, when and where they need them most.

The launch of Europcar’s Van Supersites is part of our commitment to helping UK businesses

Each Europcar Supersite will include specialist vehicles, such as five and six-seat Crew Vans, 4×4 pickups and an extensive range of Chapter 8 vehicles. With the capacity to store several hundred vans, these dedicated locations can meet demand for large bulk orders of around 20 vehicles, thus giving more choice and flexibility to businesses.

Fleet managers also have access to a dedicated van service from each of the Supersites with teams trained with hands-on experience of the specialist vehicles, as well as knowledge of clients’ requirements through dedicated account management, in order to effectively deliver a highly focused service.

Speaking about the Van Supersites, managing director of the Europcar, Ken McCall said: “The launch of Europcar’s Van Supersites is part of our commitment to helping UK businesses that are making the most of an increasingly positive economy.

“Complementing our existing network of 170 Van Stations in the UK, the Supersites allow us to respond to specific commercial vehicle requirements of our customers, including Chapter 8 compliant vehicles.”
