IN 2020, MAXUS launched the e DELIVER 3, marking its entry into the small commercial vehicle market, it’s first fully electric model and highly commended in this year’s Business Van awards.

Designed from the ground-up for electric power only, the e DELIVER 3 offers a remarkable range, clocking up to 213 miles (city range WLTP) / 151 miles (combined WLTP) on a single charge (50.23 kWh battery). The design uses aerodynamic principles to reduce wind resistance and lighten the entire vehicle. While it is compact and lightweight, it can carry up to 945kg payload, which competes more than favourably with any other small diesel van on the road.

MAXUS vehicles are developed with the very latest technology in the automotive industry and this includes the development of several battery options for the e DELIVER 3, as well as various battery cooling methods, which allows a reduction in charging time (DC 45mins (5%-80%) AC 5hrs), extending battery life and increasing the operating range.

It comes with a 90KW /255Nm motor and includes manual air conditioning with a variable control system for optimal driver and passenger comfort. The MAXUS e DELIVER 3 is available as a short wheelbase panel van with a compartment width of 1665mm. The cargo area offers optimal ease of loading with a cargo volume of 4.8 cubic metres.

Distributed by Harris MAXUS and supported by a nationwide dealership network across all right-hand drive markets in Europe, MAXUS has already become a favourite with business owners and fleet managers across the UK who want to future proof their fleet. The e DELIVER 3 encourages drivers to make the move to electric, offering astarting price (£34,000, ex. VAT, £31,000 with govt grant) and innovative technology and specifications that supports the needs of every small van driver

MAXUS has a keen focus on customer service and goes above and beyond to help businesses navigate the switch to electric driving, highlighted by the establishment of its dedicated business advice service for those considering an investment in EV. This was done in recognition of the fact that navigating the switch to electric can be challenging; each business has different requirements, and MAXUS understands that many have obstacles to overcome before they can make the switch, such as charging solutions and fleet range needs.

Available at local MAXUS dealerships, this service provides business owners and fleet managers with a realistic evaluation of where they are on their journey to greener motoring and what they need to do next – some may be ready to make the switch, others may need to put policies and infrastructure in place before making the move.

MAXUS provides a step-by-step guide to ensure that each client’s journey to electric driving is as seamless as possible. The e DELIVER 3 is part of the Go Ultra Low grant scheme and business owners can take advantage of an £3,000 grant towards a new EV, encouraging early adoption of zero-emission vehicles.

Each new electric vehicle comes with MAXUS Intelligence Onboard as standard which offers businesses powerful insights that can help reduce running costs while maximising EV range. This new programme created specifically for MAXUS EVs provides data-driven insights through the Geotab software platform, including near real-time insights into state of charge (SOC), energy used, energy cost, live GPS tracking, charging data and improved range. Maxus Intelligence Onboard also allows businesses to better optimise and monitor their EV vehicles to ensure they are operating productively.
