DO you want tough for your truck? Of course you do. But you probably want more. You want ‘Engineered Beyond Tough’. Quite right too. So step forward the all-new Mitsubishi L200 pick-up truck.
From its Dynamic Shield front design concept to the improved suspension for increased durability, the Mitsubishi L200 is tough all over.
The new L200 was recently launched in Thailand where it is made. It’s not coming to the UK just yet, but Mitsubishi says we can expect it around Q3 2019.
For now, you may just have to put up with the following details that we have.
The front end design features a high engine bonnet line and beefier-looking lamps that are positioned higher up. Result? All a bit more imposing.

Step inside, and you get a functional cabin that’s also in tune with the times. So high quality fixtures, and soft pad materials is what you get in the restyled cabin.
The transmission has a new off-road mode that regulates power and drive depending on the condition you have chosen – mud, rock, snow and so on. Hill Descent Control means it does the hard bit for you going down the steep bits.
You can also expect a whole bundle of safety assistance features including a Multi Around Monitor, which generates a bird’s eye view image of the area around the vehicle. Which could prove really valuable off road.
So there you have it. The new Mitsubishi L200. You’ll just have to wait a bit for it. Tough love.
