AT THE recent CV Show (April 24-26), Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles unveiled its Business Pack range of vehicles.
The Business Pack is available on Caddy, Transporter and Crafter panel van models, and are on sale now.
Boss of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Carl zu Dhonna, said that the new Business Pack models were designed for the SME market to give van operators exactly what they needed.
“It makes it easier for customers to orientate our model range. If they are asking what is the right van for me, or if they are not sure which model to go for, then the Business Pack model is the one to go for.
“For example, all Business Pack models come with reversing sensors. SMEs don’t want van dents that require downtime. I believe these Business Pack models will increase our penetration in the SME sector.”
Business Pack models are essentially that – packs that can be added to the vehicles.
The Caddy Business Pack can be added to the Startline model for £950 (basic RRP ex VAT) and adds an alarm, rear parking sensors and air conditioning (saving £520 if you were to add these options individually).
The Transporter Business Pack can be added to Startline models for £975 (saving £510 if you were to add these options individually), adding an alarm, rear parking sensors and air conditioning.
The Crafter Business Pack cones with alarm, front and rear parking sensors and air conditioning can be added to Startline and Trendline Crafter panel vans for £1,250. In addition the pack for the Crafter adds two remote folding keys with the alarm and an overhead storage compartment in the cab to store documents and other items (saving £1,320 if you were to add these items individually).
