Nissan NV200 Crew Van

Nissan NV200 Crew Van: panelled version due soon, but a second glazed side door option is being investigated says Nissan

NISSAN is due to expand its panel van range with a NV200 crew van version within the next two months.

Nissan says the crew van would be fitted with folding rear seat and mesh bulkhead to extend the load area when the second row of seats weren’t being used.

“We’re seeing a big demand for this sort of vehicle,” said Andy Connell, lcv product manager, Nissan.

“It can make a van fleet very efficient, particularly when you need to transport men to a site – a crew van can take the place of two or three vans and take all the equipment required. With the cost of fuel and so on, that can be quite a saving.”

Andy said that Nissan was also evaluating the opportunity provided by a glazed sliding door crew cab version.

“Where the security of the load isn’t an issue, this could be a useful feature,” added Andy.

Prices for the Nissan NV200 crew van will be announced later.

In addition to the Crew Van, Nissan has recently launched a chiller van refrigeration version of its NV200, the NV200 Fridge Van with a chilled cell of 2.2 cu  m.

The NV200 Fridge Van is backed by a three year Nissan warranty for the insulated cell and the cooling unit.

The Fridge Van is available with either with or without a  side load door.

Prices are £13,970 ex vat for the NV200 Fridge Van SE; and £14,670 ex vat for the higher spec NV200 Fridge Van n-tec version.
