THE recently refreshed Vauxhall Movano is like the Swiss Army knife of the heavy van market, offering all the attributes that we think make up the perfect package – and Business Vans has picked what we believe are the five reasons to favour Vauxhall Movano.

It was the Best Heavy Van in the 2016 Business Vans Awards. For the Business Vans review on the front-wheel drive 3.5-tonne bi-turbo ecoFLEX 136 click here but first check out these highlights:

The cab

Like the van version of a Tardis, the Movano – well established and developed since launch in 2010 – really has an impressive amount of space in the cabin. In addition, this big Vauxhall van has an equally impressive amount of cubby holes, shelves and compartments – so many in fact that you’ll lose count of them!

The practical load area

The Movano’s big footprint pays dividends here, as it offers a load area which extends from 7.8 to 17 cubic metres. There’s also the choice of three wheelbases, plus three roof heights. With payloads going from 996 to 2,254kg.

The drive

Despite its big dimensions, the Movano is very easy to drive with light steering and confident handling. Under the bonnet of this big Vauxhall van, there’s the choice of 108, 125 and 134 bhp versions of the 2.3-litre CDTI diesel. All these offer punchy performance, plus there’s the added convenience of the choice of front- and rear-wheel drive.

The long service intervals

Low wholelife costs are a key driver for sales in this sector of the van market and with its long 25,000 miles service intervals, the Vauxhall Movano scores well against the opposition.

The large choice of versions available

There’s a Vauxhall Movano perfect for every job. However, if there’s not a factory-built van to suit your needs, there is bound to be something that will, that’s offered by Vauxhall’s approved converters. For example see A Movano welfare van for home comforts on the move.
