SOUTH West family-run dealership Carbase’s new store, Vanbase, dedicated to selling new, nearly new and used commercial vehicles has opened its doors.

Building of a new showroom is underway at the 2.2-acre former Jewsons site, but all sales will be available at the fresh temporary building throughout development and until the new building opens its doors for business.

The van store will provide much needed local employment with eight new roles. Further positions including sales, apprenticeships and vehicle maintenance, will become available as part of the new store build and develop.

Gordon Veale, General Manager at Vanbase, said: “The new Vanbase store will embody the wider Carbase ethos and values of trust, transparency and fairness and we give our customers a real sense of security when it comes to buying their next vehicle.

“Until the new showroom is complete, customers can browse our van stock and take advantage of the full sales service from our friendly expert team.”

The Vanbase store redevelopment and used van sales service is underway at Hartcliffe Way, Bristol,
